- 6 lb pork butt or shoulder roast
- 1 tbsp Hawaiian sea salt
- 1 tbsp liquid smoke
Place the pork roast in the slow cooker.
Add the liquid smoke and sea salt on top of the roast.
Slow cook for 12-16 hours.
When done, remove bone and pull apart with fork.
- This can also be made in your Instant Pot using a combination of slow and pressure cooking. I used 8 hours slow and 2 hours pressure.
- Serve with cooked cabbage or cole slaw on the side.
- Top with BBQ sauce for a tangy flavor.
- Serve right from the slow cooker at a picnic or party.
